Adults at St. Giles Islands, Tobago, 11 January 1998 (A; TTRBC 1999-19) and 8 October 2001 (B-C). Photos © by Charles Lowe (A) and Floyd Hayes (B-C). Note the dark facial 'mask' and black tail, which distinguish this species from the smaller, white-morph Red-footed Booby (S. sula). St. Giles Island is the only locality in T&T where this species is regularly recorded since first found by Richard ffrench on 29 September 1995 (TTRBC 1996-11). | ||||||||||||||||||||
