Welcome to the South Eastern Caribbean Birds Archive which features articles and short reports previously hosted on the now defunct Southeastern Caribbean Bird Alert website. This archive contains documentary photographs representing significant distributional records of rare birds in the southeastern Caribbean region (Virgin Islands, Lesser Antilles, and Trinidad and Tobago) and identification essays of some of the region’s birds. It is not intended to provide photographs of all species occurring within the region. The taxonomy follows the American Ornithologists’ Union’s Check-list of North American Birds, 7th edition (1998).
